TRANSFER POLICIES

• The transfer must be picked up by the person to whom it is addressed.
• You Must be a resident of the State of New Mexico to receive a handgun. *Exceptions for military
• Valid photo ID with current address is required to pick up the firearm. * If your photo ID does not have your current address, you may bring a NM STATE or FFEDERAL GOVERNMENT issued document with your name and correct address. Call the store to find out what documents are approved.
• Your firearm will only be ready for pick up once it has been processed and you have been called. Firearms are generally processed within 24 hours. If the Firearm is received Friday after 12:00pm or Saturday it will not be processed until Monday. Your Shippers tracking number only show that your firearm has arrived NOT that it is ready to be picked up.
• If your background check comes back “DENIED” you are still responsible for the $35 transfer fee. You will also be responsible for having the firearm returned to the shipper at your expense.
• If firearms are left at Ron Peterson Firearms, LLC for more than 90 days, without prior communication, the firearm will be considered abandoned and become the property of Ron Peterson Firearms, LLC.
